In recent years, we have largely neglected nature in our living environments. We have adopted house plants in an attempt to soften our manufactured spaces. What if, instead, a house can be a planter? A home to both humans and vegetation?
HousePlant is a new building system: a new vocabulary between then and now, between the nostalgic and the contemporary. Nature and architecture intertwine to provide shelter and sustenance. Nature and architecture collaborate to bring more greenery to dense urban environments.
